Trend to try: Stripes

If you ask me, stripes are always in style. However, stripes have suddenly become the new “it” trend this spring for some weird reason. I suppose I shouldn’t question it, I will just hop on the stripes train and ride into fashion happiness. When something classic is “on trend,” I’m always a happy camper.

If you recognized this dress from yesterday’s post about Stitch Fix, you are awesome! I just had to wear this dress as soon as I pulled it out of the box. I took a cue from the styling cards they sent me and paired this dress with my trusty jean jacket. To really make it my own, I had to add a belt (of course) and my booties and MK bag that I just can’t stop wearing. I love how it all came together! I can’t wait to style this dress through summer…it’s such a classic piece that will go with everything.

Dress: bought via Stitch Fix / Jacket: Abercrombie & Fitch (similar) / Belt: Target (similar) / Booties: Wanted / Bag: Michael Kors

XOXO Miranda

    • Erin, that is such a bummer! I actually bought them at DSW so maybe try checking in stores. They are sold out at DSW online which is why I provided the Alloy link. Hope you can find them!

  1. Stripes are just like a comfort to me, it’s almost like a warm security blanker or something. As you can tell, I have a serious love for stripes! That dress looks so good on you! I love that you put it with the bow belt!

  2. I agree with you completely when you say stripes are always in style.
I love the gold bow belt and the fact that it is metal makes it even better.
