I’ve been searching for a plain black maxi skirt for months now, so when I stumbled across this one at H&M for only $17.95, I couldn’t believe it! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for – cotton, simple, and easy. It’s a perfect piece that I can wear year round (in Houston) and style for any season. It even looks really cute knotted at the bottom, which is how I plan to wear it when it warms up a little more. Plus, it has pockets!
I wore this outfit on one of those perfect weather days when it was chilly in the shade (hence the scarf) but warm in the sun (hence the bit of midriff). These pictures were taken at Mercer Arboretum, which is absolutely gorgeous (and free!), so I highly recommend that all my Houston friends make a trip up there and enjoy some nature!
