How fun is this background? One of my favorite things about Houston is that it’s so big and unique that there’s always something new to discover. However, I don’t have a lot of extra time to drive around searching for my next great outfit post background (seriously, who has time for that?). When I discovered this quirky mural on the side of a building close to my apartment, I couldn’t believe that I’d never spotted it before. I’ve lived in the same neighborhood for 3+ years and I’m still always discovering something new!

Anyway, I wanted to wear my new top that I wrote about in my Stitch Fix post a couple weeks ago. I’d been waiting for the weather to warm up enough that I could wear it, but it’s still a bit chilly and I needed a jacket. I wanted to pair it with a light colored bottom so that you could really see the pretty scalloped detail on the hem of the shirt. I feel like these pants make me look like a Porky Pig, but it is what it is. I will wear bright pants as I please.

Top: bought via Stitch Fix (similar) / Jeans: Jewelry & More (Rice Village) (similar) / Wedges: DSW (similar) / Jacket: JCP (similar) / Scarf: old (similar) / Earrings: F21 / Bag: Michael kors

XOXO Miranda

  1. I agree, sometimes a white wall just has to do the trick.:) But I’m glad you found this spot because these photos are so much fun!:D Cool setting, no doubt, and I really like your bright pants too, babe.;)
