I completely realize that writing about blazers being a “trend” is so very obvious. Everyone knows that blazers are in. Even the most fashionably challenged person could tell you that blazers are a good thing. We’ve all seen “What Not to Wear” and learned about the importance of a good jacket that nips in at the waist. They’re figure flattering, sophisticated, and come in every color you could possibly imagine. However, I’m still willing to bet that someone is reading my blog who doesn’t own a blazer yet. To that person, I don’t want to get all “buy all the things! consumerism! peer pressure!”…but if there’s one clothing item you buy this year, a well-fitting blazer is what I’d recommend.

I also love jackets and blazers and am still looking for a red blazer as well as a striped dress and a polka dot dress. You look wonderful… can’t wait to see more of your outfits!

I agree a blazer is a must have staple in a woman’s closet! I should know I probably own at least 50! You look gorgeous and I love that you added the blazer as a lovely pop of color! If I had to just buy one item it would have to be a black skirt as it goes with so much!

I love my blazers! Sadly, my black and red ones do no get as much wear because they feel big in the shoulders, bu they are so needed for every wardrobe.
